Easter Is Here!

We have had lots of yummy Easter fun this week, and we are just bursting with excitement about the long Easter weekend! On Wednesday, we learnt all about procedural texts. A procedural text, is a non-fiction text that gives us instructions on how to do something. We made a list of all the ways we use procedural texts in every day life:

• Cooking recipes
• Instruction manuals
• Game instructions
• Scientific procedures
• Instructions for craft activities      

Then we got to follow a recipe to make Easter Chocolate Crackle Nests! We had LOTS of fun cooking in class and our crackles turned out PERFECTLY!

We were also EXTREMELY lucky to have a special visitor on Thursday....can you guess who it was?........................................................................
