Dissecting Hearts

At the end of last term we had LOTS of fun dissecting lamb's hearts! We were able to see all the important parts of the heart like the aorta, left and right atrium, left and right ventricles and some of us even found the vena cava and some valves. We were amazed at how similar the lamb's heart was to what we had learnt about the human heart. Here are some pics of our hearty fun!
